Does anyone still have and use any old school walkmans

I have a WM-36 which I still use a lot and also one of the later models but it sounds terrible compared to my other one so I only us the WM-36. Does anyone still have and use any old school walkmans and which models?

Hi there

Wow - Cassette Walkmans - takes me back to when I was 8 and got my first one   I know vinyl has been given a revive, but I think cassette's may not.

I think Ebay might be your best bet to be honest

Cheers

I don't need one, happy with my WM-36, just seeing if anyone apart from me still used them

Hi @Wonderwall2

I'm delighted its not just me that uses 'Old School' Walkmans these days.

(I find the tapes don't fit into MP3 players very well lol) :yahoo:

I use the WM-EX1HG, it was a 15th anniversary limited edition Walkman which I was

lucky enough to get as a gift many moons ago (complete with my name and year engraved on it)

Still superb even by today's standards.
