i need your consult about SONY KD55XD7005

Hi, me again.

so, iv'e got this Sony KD55XD7005, i was happy with it, but it had some real bad DSE, so iv'e called sony, it been replaced.

the second one had bad light leak, replaced again.

now the third is the WORST! some real ugly pink/ purpule/red Hue that is even visible in bright scene, called sony, a technician came and said he sees it but he thinks that the TV wont be replaced again.

now i'm wating for the replay.

my question is: is this model is Faulty? should i demand a refund?

P.S all 3 TVs were manufactured on the same month 11/16

Hi there

I am unsure if you are just super unlucky, super picky or whether there is a higher fault rate with this model.

As you are aware, DSE is a general issue with LCD technology. Some panels are better/worse than others. I have not come across many complaints with this model in regards to DSE on either the Sony Community Forums or AV Forums - so if there was a major underlining issue which quality control on this model, then I would expect a lot more complaints on these forums....

My money is on : you have been super unlucky !
