EPG favorite group selection being reset on Marshmallow

After updating my KD-55X8505C to Marshmallow, EPG seems to work much smoother, but it does not keep the favorite selection but it's reset to All programs if I select for example channel with number or press TV button. Not to mention after turning TV on after shutdown.

Anyone else noted similar behavior?

That's pretty much it. Happens also in other ways when changing channel wrong way but same symptoms. Thanks!

The issue was introduced with V3.843. Sony did not manage to fix it within 2 months. So V3.865 still suffers from it. It tells you a lot about the care that is put into the TV products. Nobody seems to productively use those TVs over at Sony. Suppose there is one part-time guy, who is doing the development and some quick testing.

I have an 55XE8505, with Android 7.

It is very annonying, that the channel list always exits from favorites.

My provider gives a hundred channels, many of them are duplicates (SD and HD versions of the same channel), many of them are useless talkshows, I want to watch only 20-25, but everytime I have to select the favorites again...
