Sony KD-55A1-BU - Dream Shattered :)

Unboxed my brand new A1 today after many months of waiting. Plugged it in, white led nothing else. Tried factory default, green led, back to white led, nothing else. Eventually it switches to 7 flashing red led's and then I reboot, white led and nothing else.

So my new very expensive telly is DOA, any idea's ? the store is going to take 3 days to issue me a replacement.

Nothing you can do, just insist on a new replacement. If you have waited months already then another three days isn't the end of the world.

Better DOA than dead after 2 weeks.

I'd just take it back immediately and get a (new) replacement.
