5 Year Warranty Question.

Hi,

I have just purchased a Sony Tv from an online retailer, which says, it comes with a 5 year warranty.

There was nothing on my invoice mentioning this, so I rang them up, and they said :

"we have registed the serial number of your tv with Sony, for the 5 year warranty"

Does this sound correct ?

And is there, anyway of checking this ?
