No event information xe9005

Hi all, new tv for Christmas and I decided to connect the satellite dish straight into it rather than use sky box.

Any idea why my tv guide so I show "no event info" on all channels, until I select one. So if I choose to watch BBC 1 it will then show guide info for that channel only.

This is a known issue and has been reported already but we don’t have a solution yet. You can read previous discussions about it here. There has also been a possible work-around posted here if you'd like to try it.

What a shame! Have just spent £899 on SONY BRAVIA KD55XE8596 from Currys. After satellite connection, all the channels show "No event information" under "GUIDE". Since Sony doesn't have a solution yet, thinking whether to return the product. How disappointing! Sigh...!
