TV won't connect to wifi until told to

Hi,

I have a KD-55X9005C that I have had for a little over 2 years and this is a problem that has occurred as long as I can remember. At least half the time when I turn on it will not automatically connect to the wifi. The router is in the same room and there is a very strong signal strength. Normally manually telling it to connect to the wifi works fine and it remembers the network so it doesn't require a password but every now and then I have to tell it to forget the network and set up the connection from scratch. This is an incredibly frustrating problem as I have no other devices with problems like this. I consider myself very competent with technology but this has me stumped. Firmware is fully up to date.

Any ideas?

I haven't tried that yet. Will give it a go ASAP and let you know if the problem persists.
