XD9305 - remote battery life

I have standard remote, model RMF-TX200E.

From some time - I don't know exactly when, battery life went to 20-25 days when using normal betteries, 14-18 with rechargable ones.

I upgraded quite late to the last Android version (remembering various issues with 6.0), possibly in December and not long after that I think I started experiencing problems.

Remote has SW version 5.3.14.018

TV has 3.925

I tried re-paring the remote, activating and deactivating voice controls - nothing seems to help.

Some ideas maybe what can be done?

Yes, TV firmware is surely the latest. As for the remote - I clicked on the update in TV settings, then I was told it's the latest version.
