Latest Google Voice Search slows down XE9005

The latest version 3.3 really slows down the TV. It causes huge lag in the action menu, meaning a long delay before picture settings appear.

Anyone else noticed this? I confirmed by uninstalling the updates and every zips along. As soon as I reinstall the lag comes back.

Hi @Risc0n,

It's possible there's a new default setting on that app which is causing the problem. You could check that it's not searching for other devices, for example.

We don't seem to have anyone else with this issue; hopefully you will get some feedback from Google Play about it.

Uninstalling Google app updates within the Play Store or disabling Bluetooth work around the issue. The latter disables voice input.

It helped me. I have turned off BT. I do not need it because I usee Apple TV at all
