Android 8 Oreo Rollout Update for Bravia TV

Hi all,

After reading online I know Oreo is rolling out for 2017 Bravia TV’s outside the EU.

I’m using a Sony Bravia KD-65XE8596 will I be receiving the Oreo update anytime soon or at all?

I hate the leanback launcher and for a tv that cost just under £1000 in June 2018 it’s so unresponsive at times.

I got an update in September 2018 but that was just bug fixes.

i love the tv but I hate the user interface and how unresponsive it is 9 times out of 10. It could be so much better by a simple update.
