It is not standard and Android never have to boot completely from scratch if you do not unplug it from power. You should have another problem.

It boots in less than 5 seconds.

Since the Android 8 rolled out to my TV it has been really slow to start up. Even with the eco settings switched off, the boot cycle takes it to a new Android splash screen for 20 seconds, before moving on to the Sony splash screen for another 10 seconds.

C'mon Sony - this is just not good enough for a TV boot time. I expect to have a picture on screen within 5 seconds of turning the tv on.

All the menus are very slow to bring on-screen also. However, this seems to be standard for this TV. The picture is great, but the entire operating environment really needs improvement.

Kernel version: 3.10.79

Build: BRAVIA_ATV3_4K_EU-user 8.0.0 OPR2.17063.027.S30 665451 release-keys
