YouTube casting to Bravia KD55XG8096BU

Hi all, I've had a Bravia KD55XG8096BU for a while now and have never really had any issues with casting to it, but as of the last week or so it has changed.

If for example I want to cast a YouTube video to it, previously I would just need to press the little icon within the YouTube app on my phone, it would load up the client on the TV then play the video.

Now for some reason, when I connect to the TV it opens up the TV's YouTube app, if a video was playing previously it'll continue to play that video and not the one that I have selected to watch.

Absolutely any idea what could be doing this?

That happens to me from time to time, the first attempt simply works to establish the connection, then if I select the video I want to play on my phone again, it offers to play or add to queue. If you I select play it will start playing right away.

I've cleared the cache and data from the app on the TV and uninstalled updates, this seems to have worked.

Not had any issues since, thanks though.
