Firmware update to v6.6575

This is a first for me, the TV prompted me that an update was available (KD-55XE9305). Normally I have to use the USB method to perform all updates. If there are any problems I will report back.

Did you do the Firmware update to v6.6575?

after I do the update, Seems my TV's Host name is no longer shown in the Router.

Tried both cable and wifi.

Please keep me posted.

Hi @srimal1985 I performed the update immediately, no problems so I didn’t report back. The host name in my router BT SH2 exists and is exactly the same (Ethernet).

Have you tried clearing the cached data and resetting the TV (by holding the power button for ~5 secs)?

I did reset the TV using Power button and Volume Down button in the side of the TV.
But no luck.

Have you tried unplugging both your TV (disconnecting or unplugging external devices as well) and the router for 2-3 mins for them to depower?
