The camera of my Xperia E5 cannot focus properly. It often has photos out of focus (Actually I do not think it has ever got any 100% focused photo). Is there any setting or adjust method I can try? Thanks

Please see the photos. The better pictures were taken by Asus zenfone 5 which is cheaper than Sony E5. Asus has a much quicker and better focus.

I have the same problem.especially at night.it doesn't focus 100% and theres times it takes at least 1 minute to focus.

I have the same issue (among others) with a brand new Xperia E5 with Android 6 from factory, no lens scratches, no dirt. The camera is terrible. I have compared against an 8mp Samsung from 2014 that takes better pictures. I even tried to return it but the seller refused claiming that the official Sony service said that there was nothing wrong and if there is I should expect that from a mid-range cellphone.

you can clearly see that the center is a bit more clear than the surroundings.

Add this to the fact that there is not going to an update to android 7 or 8, the oveheating when using 4g, the subpar Bluetooth pairing and the issues with the headphone (line) jack. I feel scammed, I hate this phone, I will never buy a Sony cellphone again, I'll stick to gaming consoles and TV's only.

same issue with me. other than the internal storage, not upgradable OS, the camera cant focus properly especially if the subject is too close in the camera lens. I thought sony is best when it comes to camera.

EXACT Same problem!

I wish I had read about this BEFORE buying the phone! I Hate it! What a waste of my money and the seller is going here and there and will probably eventually refuse to give me an exchange or refund. I am so annoyed with this phone because I bought it hoping it would be better than the previous Samsung grand prime 8g internal storage that I had which was also sh**.
