Pc connect ...experia L1

When I connect to pc I hear the tone for device connected. When I open Xperia companion It asks me to connect device. Not recognised when I reconnect.

On device... Android. Process. Media keeps stopping

Checked and updated drivers on pc.. Device working correctly ( lists as Mtp device)

Mtp selected on phone settings

Media storage app not listed in apps

Phone does not show up on This Pc when connected

Any ideas?

Getting really stressed with this as it asked me for the driver? And i didn't know what one it was, all I'm trying to do is put tracks i have stored on phone to a folder, then put those chosen tracks to USB stick, if you can help me so far we may be able to sort out each other problems eh!, surely can't be that complicated!!! 😣😣😣
