Hi there - this is my first post so apologies if this has been asked before.

I bought a pay as you go Sony Xperia L1 on Saturday as my old phone was getting slow and today i switched it off as we do when we get to work. When i left, i tried to switch it on but nope, it refused to start.

After some checks on the web, i have tried to leave on charge (no change), pressing and holding in the power and volume buttons (no change). Even the LED won't come on when i plugged it to try and switch on via charge.

I even tried to activate it via my PC but it won't even register, it's brand new so surely it can't be dead. I might need to take to a local repair shop, failing that, i might just take back and ask for a refund but would like to see if there's something i can try before i do that.

Any ideas? It seems like this is a problem associated with these phones. I've now had to revert back to my aging Vodafone Smart 6 after i told everyone my new cell number!
