I have an Xperia l2 but the l2 I had before this one had the same issue just not as bad. This is quite frequent and happens after I turn the phone off (not fully) and after I use headphones sometimes. Restarting hasn't helped. The volume would drop now and then. I had downloaded an app for a compás and this was the cause.
