Hi, there everyone plz do help me I am having problem installing the software of NEO V

When I attach the cable to pc and double click on sony software nothing works. Not even a

Single dialouge box opens up plz do help m everyone I wil b every much thank ful to u

Pc config pentium 4 intel dv8gvsr 10gb ram win xp profsnl

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

Sorry sir still havent got my point sir i was asking about A software not an update do you know about samsung kies or a samsung new PC studio Like that in Sony Xperia Neo V.

A software from which i can connect my PC to internet using my neo as a modem (thetering)

i need that software..thats what i am asking..

I was telling that when i connect my phone to PC then when he auto asks to install the software when i double click on the "startme.exe" nothing happens thats it,, i am asking for that software plzz do help..i will be very much thankful to you..

On the other hand the download u gave me is for updating the Phone Software sir i bought this just 3 days ago how can be there a update for this phone,, i tried it the server said ur phone is up to date,,

I downloaded that also but when i connect to thetr a soung comes in Win XP like connect then a USB not connectd properly type sounds comes out without opening any Dlg box .

i did install it after downloading but then removed it becoz i thougt it was a wrong software

as of now u gave me a software to upade my software of phone..now redownloading it

You must have both of them installed
but remember to install pcc as thats the one you are asking for ( i think)

ICS has been released in many countries but not globally yet
this is the thread that shows the status

once ICS is released in india , it would be added to the list given in the thread above
Though i am from India as well, but i am running on ICS software

Windows XP contains the drivers you need to take advantage of USB tethering, but you must install a configuration file before connecting your phone to your Windows XP computer, to instruct Windows XP how to configure itself to use those drivers.

Download the following configuration file (tetherxp.inf) to your Windows XP computer. Typically, you can right click on the link and choose "Save As". (If your browser appends .html to the file name, you will need to edit the name to remove the .html extension.)
Use the USB cable that came with your phone to connect your phone to your computer.
On the Android phone, press Home, press Menu, and touch Settings to open the Settings application.
Touch Wireless & networks > Tethering & portable hotspot.
Check USB tethering.
When Windows XP’s New Hardware Wizard opens, select No, not at this time and click Next.
Select Install from a list or specific location and click Next.
Click Browse to browse to the directory where you installed the configuration file you downloaded in Step 1 and click Next. Windows XP uses the configuration file to configure itself to support USB tethering with the Android phone.
When Windows XP finishes installing the software for Android USB Ethernet/RNDIS, click Finish.

You can now use the new Windows XP local area network connection provided by your phone via USB tethering. For more information about configuring networks in Windows XP, see the documentation that comes with Windows.
