My W705 won't turn on, only backlight.

At first I thought it was just an error. It won't read contact on my SIM card and on my phone too, so when I got incoming call, it dispay the number but it won't display the caller name, only weird characters (my frind said it was virus, I don't know). So I took the battery out and put it in again then turn it on. The SE logo came out but then only the backlight was on. It keeps on going like that for hours so I took the battery out. Can anyone help me?

hey, you can try repairing your software using

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

even if it says you are on the latest software, click on install anyway
