Problem with PC Companion after install

I have bought a Xperia Arc T15 and followed the instruction to install PC Companion. After install the main window of PC companion remains blank, there is no icons to allow me to update my contacts from my other old phone. The phone software was updated without any problem and so was the apps directly from the wi-fi internet connection from the T15
I am using MS Windows XP SP3 and have disabled the antivirus.

I just re-installed the PC Companion (25.9 Mb) at least 3 times, still same. Below is a screenshot.

try to install the software in safe mode...

uninstall the software , restart the pc , and when on log screen , press f8 repeatidly and select start windows in safe mode..

install the software , restrat your pc in normal mode..

Thanks but in safe mode I cannot access the internet to download the software again.

oh ,

it has something related to java i guess.. please search the forum , i think this has been discussed before... so i'll also find the solution to it..

Sorry I have just searched and have NOT found anything similar on the discussions.

Some mention about a version 2.11 but it does not exist in software download.

Hi, yess yoou can install in safe mode BUT WITH NETWORKING ON
so select safe mode with networking

Turn firewall and antivirus off and allow full access to pc companion
