Laging Problem :/

Hey, I have been experiencing laging issues from last few days in my Arc S 😕

Contacts take about 5 to 8 secs to open up, and same is the case with the dial pad 😕

Got ICS 4.0.3

Please HELP!!

once you get 4.0.4 the lag will not be as bad, in the mean time, clear your call logs from your dialer or you can use Dialer One

I dont wanna do manually update, literary bad at all those technical things. Any other solution? Does stoping the background app helps?

stopping background apps don't help that much, but using a third party app like dialer one will help.

What about using a application kill app? Will it be useful in laging thing?

that's never a good idea, taskillers, antivirus and battery deffenders will slow down your phone, and also create issues with other apps and network connectivity

the lag won't go away unless you downgrade to 2.3.4

same link above to manually update, you can manually downgrade or you can take your phone to a sony service center and they will downgrade it for you

Last thing app killers and anti virus free your ram, then why they are not worth it?

they don't free up your RAM they are running in the background wasting battery and creating issues with other apps and with Android itself. taskillers for example, if you kill an app it will drain more battery to restart it than letting be in the background, and now with ICS you don't have to kill them at all, you can disable them. antivirus will create issues with your network and other apps, you don't need it, this is android not a pc
