No Ant+ after ICS Update?

Hi,

After update to Android 4.0.4, i wanted to pair my hear rate monitor but i couldn't.

No icon like in the last Android version and no ant+ menu in the system settings.

Anyone else with the same behavior of the SE Active?

You can activate ANT + using the performance assistant

It has been disabled in ICS to improve performance, but you can activate again using the performance assistant..

disablin ant+ also prevent the app to use the battery thats why you can activate and disable it at the same time... just go to performance assitant and check ant+ and then done it will activate it cheers!

I've experienced that ANT did not work even when activated in the Performance Assistant. Had to deactivate it, reboot, activate it again and reboot again. Then it worked...

READ THIS if your ANT+ Heart Rate Belt wont work!

It is only 50% percent true that it doesnt work after ICS upgrade!

It is TWO DIFFERENT versions of ICS on the Xperia ACTIVE (!!!!)

1: Its the one ICS type you get when you upgrade from gingerbread who gets flickering screen and a phone who lives its own life - AND the ADIDAS MICOACH heart rate belt with ANT+ that doesnt work with the on-the-air upgrade (its the first upgrade you do).

Therefore factory reset not just halfway, but with all boxes marked, let the reset delete everything, so then take a BACKUP first of all files and sms etc.!

2: When you have done Factory reset, it will give you a cleaner version and more stable but still android version 4.0.4 as before the reset (same number). Still with same 4.0.4 version everything looks different, but now ANT+ heart rate belt works extremely perfect! Im so glad!

PS! as others mentioned above in this discussion, that they activated ant+ in performance center, that wouldnt work in my case. Therefore I give you guys this GUIDE

Before factory reset, when I tried update ant+ drivers and activate Ant+, the phone just exited the app center and google play. After factory reset, it hasnt been any exits or errors, it has acted perfect for many days .

I experienced the same as you, therefore i factory resetted the phone and got the same 4.0.4 version as before, but very new looks on the menus, but now ANT+ works perfectly!
