please guys help me. i just droped my Xperia P in water... plz help me what should i do now

i turned it off quickly after picking... its about one hour ago this happend to me

please help me i dont have money to buy it again

remove the SIM card and SD card > get a plastic bag and fill it with raw rice and let it dry for 24 - 48 hours, replace the rice every few hours

bro what if i dont have rice at this time... :'( coz m in my hostel and its imposible now to get the rice plz any other way... i have removed my sim card and turned it off ,,,

i would suggest uliwooly's advice as well! and try using a dryer it will get the water dried as well!

i'm so much worried.. coz when it was dropped and i picked it up the secreen was blinking lil bit lets hope for good... i,ll post about wat happened with my phone

if you do use the dryer make sure its COLD air, also I don't know about letting it dry directly under the sun, would you normally do that to your phone? no, use the hair dryer on cold, otherwise you will damage your phone.

here is the good news guys after waiting 48 hours my phone is at last saved... its working pretty perfect and all the keys, speaker(my most worried thing) and the camera every thing is perfect like b4.

after you update to JB repair your phone with SUS or PCC once more, it will smooth things out, also delete all your sms, mms, call logs before you update.

My xperia p became wet in rain...i saw that it was switched off when i came home.....the another day i kept it in sunlight and then it begin to charge.....it got onn again and gradually all things began to function....but that evening it again went of....i kept it in rice for several days but still it is not working!!!!!!!! The warrety is already void!!! what should i do????

please help!! thanks in advance!!!
