Swiching Apps with home button

Hi there

Before the latest update, one would get the possibility to switch between recent/open apps when pressing the home button for a bit longer. Now this action only brings up the google search function. Is there any other way the switching-option is accessible now after the update?

For the task manager you need to double tap home button.

The home button is anyways so unresponsive, trying to double tap is a lot of effort.
