Is jelly bean update available in srilanka??i tried pc companion and refresh the phone too but still I wont get the update..

Im still stucked with ics...

then it hasn't been approved/released in your country, you have 2 options

1) wait

2) manually update your phone.

Is it safe if I manually update?will I get official updates in future?what if I get software problems if I do it manually?

it is safe, you can create a backup of your current firmware and then flash it back if anything goes wrong or you want to take it to a Sony repair center

Do you know is the LTE version of the Jelly Bean update released? And also if I do this manual install method, what will my phone look like when I start it back up again afterwards? Will everything be set to its factory settings? Will I have to redownload all apps and extensions and readjust all settings? Or will it be as I left it, like usual updates do?

going from ICS to JB you will have to redownload all your apps, that's normal, it will be as new.

I have ion and after update it into jelly bean I gone into a big trouble...
After updating when I am using 3g after some time my phone start hang and no any apps or other things was responding..mostly when I am using Google play for download something its hanged...
service centre tech. Says that I have problem in my SIM but that SIM was worked perfect with other phones and also when I didn't update my xperia ion
I work perfact with old version OS but with jelly bean its a worthless.. I m totally disappointed from Sony service and that update..please help me to find a perfect solutions

hi ......... when i did the update for my xperia ION the wirless stopped working when I remove my sim card it's work but evreytime i need to access to my wifi network i need to remove my sim card ....... is there any things i can do to solve this problem :S ......... Help Please
