My phone died today during update even though the battery was fully charged.

I followed all the update instructions and when the update finished i had a message that the update was not properly installed and the phone tried to switch on continuslly. Althought i tried the on button and sound down, power charger and on button and sound up the phone till this moment tries continusly to rebboot...

i experience the same thing today how do i fix it? or i just go to the centre immediately?

First of all force shutdown your phone by following this

Press and hold the power button + Volume Up button for

5 seconds > ( 1 Vibration ) Force restart

10 Seconds > ( 3 Vibrations ) Force shutdown

Then repair your phone's software using SUS

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)
Update/Repair your phone via SUS

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions

I had the same problem today after my updating fails and my phone did not turn on.

I plugged in charger about 20 minutes and after that my phone starts to charging and turns on.

Why sony updating has such problems?

Is it any way to download update separately and then install that?
