I've tried to manual upgrade to JB with SUS and PC companion but it says I have the latest everything

any ideas

You have to contact your carrier/network and ask them if they are going to release Jelly Bean and if they are when as its up to them to approve and release the update

Yeah I was afraid of that somewhere on my phone it sathid updating was not possible.I'm rooted already. I was trying to update from Sony but I guess the approval from WIND is mandatory?
The fact that the phone has root doesn't have anything to do with it?If so what must I do?

You have 2 options

1) wait for WIND to approve and release the update

2) use the link above to manually update your phone.

yeah thanks for your reply(s).I'm not in that much of a panic for JB so I think I'll sit back

and wait for the dust to settle and see what happens with kitkat cynogenmod is just getting started

so we'll see

I've tried updating by PC COMPANION but it doesn't work and keeps saying my phone's memory is encrpyted? I took my phone to the sony store and they said the company I have a phone plan with should tell me what's wrong (WIND mobile) and then wind told me to talk to sony I just bought it in may and I've kept in decent conditiona and I don't know how to root a phone so I didn't change anything to mess it up!
