Hi there,

First of all I really congratulate all you sony family for ruining my joy and fun with your so important and user-friendly(!) newest android update. It has the all the stupid things to make someone crazy with crashes, screen freezes and late responses. When I was using gingerbread, the phone was okey with that but it is obvious that new version 4.0.4 is just a shame and a heavy burden to all sola users.

Anyway, my problem actually the most annoying problem that I am experiencing lately after updating to 4.0.4 is that when I use winamp your so-called (!) and useless music player- walkman- interferes with the tiny little button on my headset. I am trying to by-pass it with smartkey app and smartconnect also with option in winamp as "control headset button" but it is in vain. this little tiny and sound quality poor walkman starts playing in each time I press the button to change the song or play the next one.

I am demanding a solution and will be glad if there is anyway to delete all walkman data-including application itself- as I will never want to use it again in any time in my life OR at least tell me how to disable sony walkman not to ruin my music.

LOL I will help answer your question...

I guess my reply is too late and you probably figure out yourself how to disable WALKMAN app...

Go to Settings > Apps > All > WALKMAN

There will be two same name apps but they serve totally different functions...

Refer the app version...

The higher one is the actual music player app
The lower one is the home screen widget for the player

Just hit Disable if you want to the disable the app

Also you may want to disable other apps too such as Visualizer and those apps' names ending with "Extensions" (way below the list) since they serve no purpose at all once you disable WALKMAN

FM player interacts when I tap headset control. so I just throw the phone into the sea. anyway bought a new galaxy 4 and everything is fine now!!
