ARM9 Fatal Error

Hi, I just bought my phone 4 days back and now I'm facing a problem

There is an error called ARM9 Fatal Error displayed. Below is the full details:

ARM9 Fatal Error

MOD wl1drxmanager.c

00444 Go to dload mode?

If no will break ARM11

Can someone help me with this one? Can't return it back as I have lost the receipt and the same time, the dealer did not fill up the Warranty Form, hence, I cannot use it at all!!!!

I am still hoping this phone will work properly.

Hi!

Don't panic!

Just remove the battery from your phone, insert it again and turn your phone on again. It will then work as before.

You also need to install the latest software for your phone from from www.sonyericsson.com, then you will hopefully not have this problem again.

Hi, I did it several times already, it's the same error.

Also, i tried to install the new software which gives an error as well.. Failed to update (something like that :smileyhappy:)

Is there any other way aside from what u have mentioned? By the way, I have followed the step by step the installation procedure, in case u will ask me

- When do you get the error "ARM9 Fatal Error"? What is the last thing you do before it appears?

- What is the exact error message when trying to upgrade the software?

Hi!

It happened when i was charging my phone, sometimes, checking my facebook, locking the phone, adding contacts.... This ARM9 Fatal Error is always apprearing!

I cant remember the exact message when I have installed the new software, however, I will try it again this evening and will check the message.. but hopefully it will work this time.

If this error message does not stop after installing the last update, you should send in the phone and clame a new one.

Hi! yes the message occured almost every 45 mins, I have sent it back and they have give me a new one... but my nightmare did not stop there!!!!!

the new one has a problem as well!!!!!! this is really a crazy phone!!!! This time the error is about gwes.exe!!!! In just 3 hours after I fully charged this phone! gosh!!!!

by the way, when I switched on the phone for the first time, it when to the main screen directly and did not ask for a setting, the time & date have been set on proper time?

Shall I reset it? My worry is, maybe it will be worst if I will reset this crazy phone!

Are you sure you got a new phone? Did you check the IMEI?

Perform a clean reset to bring it back to factory settings.

I give up!

this is a stupid phone I ever had! Just in 1 week this phone makes me realized that the maker of SE X2 doesn't have a brain!

This is not a good phone at all! WORST EVER!!! and because of what I have experience with this, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER NOT TO BUY SONY ERICSSON PRODUCTS... STUPID EVER!

In 1 week they replaced it with the same WORST PHONE!! I should have listened that SE is crap!

I lost & waisted my money...and tired of this bloody phone!

DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP PHONE! IT WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE!
