after i connect to my home wifi connection, i am not able to access the internet. In the wifi settings it shows that the network is connected.

Remvoe the wi-fi settings and try again.it works for me

The Sony Xperia Tipo have lots of Software Problem better try to stick to other mobile

try to disable your wifi router's dhcp server... I'm sure you are using different router that is connected to your wifi router so disable first your wifi router's dhcp server.

Then try reconnecting your wifi.

if ur wifi doesnt work... turn off it, activate airplane mode for a moment and turn off again. now.. turn on ur wifi......... TADAAAAAAA.......... ur problem same with me. when i first facing this problem, i restarting the phone, router, change ip etc, it works.. but spend ur time

try to activate airplane mode when ur device wifi is on and then turn off airplane mode. ur device will detect the wifi connection. this is a xperia problem, i had same problem with u, after i activated airplane mode and turn off it again, my xperia tipo catch the wifi signal. i hope this can help u

I have the same problem to connect wifi at home. Before my xperia tipo work fine but lately it unable to connect said like "out of range" even I sit infront of router. I try google and many said to restart and even hard reset the phone. I dont want to rest then I choose to try reboot my phone several times but the problem still occur. So i try looking at my folder using astro file manager and find a file "default-capabilities". inside the file, find regarding wifi and change value from 'true' to 'false'. It works fine with me. I try randomly by my own.

p/s: I still noob so try by your own risk.

I am having intermittent problems with my wifi. The wifi connection is good as I use the same on my computer. The phone shows that it has wifi signal and that it is connected but I can't load an internet page or use the wifi in any other way. Turning the airplane mode on and off helps with normal mobile network but not wifi.

Please can you suggest a way to improve this problem.

After doing it airplane and turning off, it shows my router .. good one ... but it is not connecting to my router, i tried with my friends router, but same issue.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, WITH THE SAME CELL PHONE, PLUS THE 3G CONNECTION NEVER WORKED AT ALL, AND I HAVE THE SERVICE CONTRACTED

before this, my tipo works fine with my home wifi but after i reset to factory setting i can't connect to wifi..

after i enter the wifi password all it said just "obtaining IP address.." and thats it! I wait for several hours but nothing happen!

then, try to forget the wifi connection & try all over again but it stay the same..

then i try to switch to airplane mode & change from 'true' to 'false' in the astro folder but the problem remain..

PLEASEEEE help me guyssss......
