Xperia S - microphone problem.

Hi. I got a problem with my Xperia S - when im calling someone, my voice is in realy bad quality. I need to make a cover with my hand, for bottom microphone to get it (a bit) better. When i completely cover it, there is no sound, althought there are TWO microphones in this model so second one should work. When i checked both microphones with *#*#7378423#*#* it worked PERFECTLY - but when im using it in actual call its MUCH worse. I already rebooted phone, restored settings and tried MANY others solutions but nothing helped. Software is actual.

only one microphone will always be used for recoding, the other one is for noise suppression

First you can try to repair the phone software:

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

If the problem still there we recommend that you contact your store and ask them to send your phone to service for investigation.

I tried this but its not working!!! the problem is still existing

If after the repair via sony update service or pc companion still having problems,visit a sony service:
