Text Message problem

Just noticed a bug has appeared when I have updated my Xperia Z with the latest update. In the messaging app, when I send a text message, the sending text notification appears but never goes away even though the message has been sent and someone has replied to me. It doesn't happen all the time but it is a bug that would be wise for you to look into. I have narrowed the problem down to when you exit the message app when the message is sending

Any help would be greatful

Sorry to hear that! Have you tried repairing the software using PC Companion to see if this corrects the issue? This reinstalls the current software on the handset and can be accessed within PC Companion by going to Support Zone > Phone Software Updates > Click Repair My Phone (in blue writing).

I have yet to try because the PC companion app doesn't let me back up. It keeps crashing. I don't want my data wiped if I can't back it up

None of that was useful. I need PC companion to work on my computer without crashing during a back up so I can back my phone up and then repair the text issue.

This is probably unreleated but no I have no signal. I am having a mare with this phone (which I got 14 days ago)

why don't you try my suggestions on how to backup your phone? or try a different computer if you must use PCC

I am experiancing a bug oblem with my Xperia Z.. when my text messaging is open... if I receive a text message.. it will show up under whatever text message I am currently reading ( making it look like the person I am viewing has texted me instead of the actual sender) I have to close it and re-open it to fix it.. Kind of an annoying bug.. and I constantly send incorect messages to the wrong people. Anyone else experiancing this problem ? or know how to fix it?

Every time I try to open a message it says messaging is not responding so I can either wait or close down. If I wait it never works anyway really annoying. My phone is brand new only 3 days old

I have problems sending messages ( Could Not Send ) and also receive it , I restart my Sony Z3 and after I got 16 text messages from friends and works for 3 day ago ! , Sony its great fone but too many problems with create pictures Album or drag pic to one album and connections with text messaging , im So Desapointed after 1 week , im problably going back to Samsung S5

I have been having problems going through one persons previous text messages. When i look through the past messages,it shuts down and a message pops up with "Unfortunatley, Messages has stopped'. is there a way to fix this.
