Sync problem

I'm unable to sync with Sony Ericsson Sync. My device sync only bookmarks, not contacts and calendar.

I also have problems sync contacts with Google. I deleted all contacts in Google but denied delete on my device when synching;

now the sync doen't work anymore... solutions? I have to delete all my contacts and resync with Google?

It's not my favourite way... also if I backup contact and then restore I have to manually link some contacts to Facebook

When you say that the sync does not work anymore, do you receive any error message when trying to do this?

No error message. All sync are enabled (contacts, calendar, bookmarks) but only bookmarks are in sync.

I retried now the procedure from the start. What's wrong?

Could be a couple of things; however what we will do is clear the data from the sync application to test this, please follow these steps:

Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Menu Button > Filter > All > Sony Ericsson Sync > Clear Data.

Once you have done this retry setting up and performing a sync.

I tried but the result is the same. Only bookmarks in sync.

I also restart the phone after clear all data and before reconfiguring sync.

I also having the similar problem with the sync, likewise only the Bookmarked is sync.

i got the same problem with the arc. fun thing is, that if i create a new calendar or contact entry on the SE webpage it will sync perfectly to my arc. but it won't sync anything from my phone to the webpage except the bookmarks, they are there as well...

I found out about this myself:

Under phonebook,u have to create a new contact and save it as Sony ericsson syncml.

I think u guys save your contacts to either the gmail account or simcard.

Sony only lets u save the contacts that are created under Sony ericsson syncml.

So far , i cant find out how to transfer all the contact like facebook,sim,gmail, which is in my phonebook to the Sony ericsson syncml.

If u dont belive me try the below.

1.open phone dialpad and save a number to syncml.

2.try to sync,and there it goes to the website.

I hope Sony has a workout for this.

i testet it and you are right armadasaxon, thank you! as soon contacts and calendar entries are made under the sonyericsson account, everything is synchronized smoothly.

BUT, i would like to have all entries synchronized to google and to SE as well without having them added somehow under both accounts, guess that should be somehow possibe...

im having the same problem, and even saving contacts under syncml would not make it work. i also noticed that in settings, my username isnt my username and i cant do anything about it

you should sync with google instead

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

and you can sync your MMS/SMS w/ your gmail

thats great, but how do i sync back from google to phone? bcos editing is easier on the computer

just go to

settings -> accounts and sync -> make sure background data its on -> tap on google and select the services you want to sync to your phone

and/or you can go to

phonebook -> tap on the threeheaded monster on the top left corner -> tap on google and select what you want to sync

To avoid problems, I exported phone contacts to file and then to PC, delete phone contacts, imported them in gmail and enable syncronization in the phone.

I have a problem please help I can't login or do anything that has to do with Facebook anymore all my other applications work besides Facebook even if I try to go into the Internet and search for Facebook it doesn't allow me. I have tried everything nothing works
