I remember Sony saying from december onwards. I've been with Sony (Ericsson) for a couple of years now and am adamant that they will stick with this even if it means releasing it on the last day of december. All I can say is just wait and it will arrive.

Yes,Xperia SP should receive it's update starting this month,so just wait some more.You can check the floating topic from time to time,I will update the availability of the update.

Its seems like this is not going to happen this december. Other brands like samsung and htc already updated their phones. Nowonder why sony is not even that close to those phone in rating

sony z. z1 ultra. 4.3 update started on 16 12. sony sp is up next. I am fed up waiting on the updates to start rolling out too. but is nearly punish time for it not be long now

Please do not duble post about the same thing,just be patient,keep an eye on the sony blog and you will see if Xperia S will receive or not 4.3.

Its just 10 more days to december end for all this time i told many people to wait for the update but now even i can't wait all other brands such as samsung and htc already updated their devices and why is sony still late and there is no information atleast they should keep us posted about the status of the update and the exact date it is nearly december end and still no update sony are you cheating your customers by giving the wrong information.

Well im still waiting for Android 4.3 for my xperia sp,sony are good phones but are slow when it come to updates.my friends have got samsung and htc phones and they have Android 4.3.

I had believed Sony last year when they reported imminent release of Android 4.3 so held on to my Mio Alpha sports watch expecting to be able to pair to it within a week or so. 2 months later and still no android 4.3, and its too late to send my sports watch back. When a corporation the size of Sony can't get something as simple as a release date correct .....

There was news that thousands of employees from sonyy will be terminated from the company. Sad...nothing is going our way...nd moreover they r leaving the pc manufacturing sector...this may help us coz thy will concntrate more on phones I guess

From 13 Feb 2014 I seen the update notification on India Xperia site... But till date I didn't receive any notification in my mobile and in PC companion... As in India the model is C5302.... So I just want to know when ur sending the update to us...

Yes the update is rolling out, but not every region gets it at once. I hear it's in Austrailia first so...maybe a little patience

Yes.. In India Sony website showing that software update is available

Android version: Google Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean)

Latest available software: 12.1.A.0.266

Release started: 2014-02-12

But Sony Companion still shows it is already up-to date
