When the keyboard isn't slided out the screen works ok, freezing from time to time.

I upgrade the S/W now running Android 4.0.4. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Z

That seems to be a hardware issue, you will have to stop by a Sony repair center http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Hi. Thanks for quick reply, I was wondering if a factory reset would help? when I slide the keyboard I cannot use the touchscreen, but the physical keybard works fine and if I presss the home key that works but no other key on the touch screen.

Hi,

I have the same issue. I have taken the fone to the sony certified stores, One guy said it might be hardware script (wires connecting the qewerty pad and the screen) problem but will takke 4 weeks to repair & another guys without even consulting said its a screen issue and it wil cost - 8600/- as much as the phone..

My screen is on, it displays everything well..only touchscreen is completely dead. I also used the phone very well last night and had no issues.
