Xperia SP won't send or recieve calls / SMS

My SP's decided to start playing up. I can use the interent on it fine but calls cut off immediately prior to ringing and any messages sent fail.

Currently got the Virgin netwrok available, 3/4 bars and the 3g+ / H+.

Tried the sim in my mothers for half a dozen messages to fly in, so presuming the fault lies on the phone. Any suggestions?

Did u perform a update recently? If yes try to repair the update using pc. If even that does not fix the prob go to a service center they should repair the update using theit pc(which is directly connected to the Sony severs) for free. this should really fix ur prob. IF U DID NOT PERFORM A UPDATE THEN I AM NOT SURE WHAT WENT WRONG BUT STILL TRY TO REPAIR LIT WITH PC COMPANION.

I've not updated anything manually, unsure whether its updated automatically. Either way it's been reset to factory settings now and I'm still having the same problem.
