No mail transfer over Bluetooth after Android 4.4 upgrade

I upgraded to Android 4.4 yesterday and after that the BT connection to my BMW stopped to work for email. The phone via BT works well and also transfer of SMS. In the BMW menu for filtering messages, email don't show as an option after the upgrade. It worked well before. I have updated the BMW software today.
Any setting in the Xperia that don't allow the mails to be transferred??

I too cannot get email to transfer from ny Xperia anymore i'm on Adroid 4.4 as well. It all used to work then suddenly stopped. Tried looking all over the place for an answer. What a pain in the bum.
