Hi guys,

This is my first post.

I just got a Sony Z2, and yesterday I updated it to latest firmware 17.1.1.A.0.402 using flashtool. After that, everytime when I switch off my phone and turn it on, the message of "...android.process.acore has stopped" appeared.

I tried to flashed the phone again using PC Companion to re-update the same firmware. I though it has gone but than it is still there.

I have tried several ways as mentioned in this forum but the problem seem to be there. I don't see any problem/error caused by this message yet.

Any idea/solution to completely remove the message?

Hello,

this is also something that has been happening to my friend's phone, and he cannot fix it. It started with the contacts and now the androoid process as you mention.

I tried restoring his phone to factory settings and didn't work.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

I have experienced the same issue with my new Xperia Z2. After about a month of misery and factory resets, I had my phone returned (warranty) and received a brand new one last week... Guess what? Again I get the same message that process.android.phone has stopped
I can't imagine that resetting again would solve this issue. Am I just extremely unlucky here?
