Customising interface

Hi, I am a new user of Xperia E1 dual. Up to now I'm quite satisfied with the device performance. But it seems to me that the font used lacks discernibility sometimes. Especially it is the case with the text of the outcoming messages. To me those texts look grey, but not black and thus my eyes have to make some effort to read them. So, is there a way to change the font or make it more discernible, can anyone tell?

Yes of course.

Go to Settings>Accessibility and tick mark Large Text option.

You are done now all the text what you see will increae in size.

Thank you for your reply, but it is not the solution of my problem. I did not mean the font size. I have set it large and that is quite comfortable for me. I mean the look of the font. Can I make it really black or perhaps bold? In other words can I change the font by means of installing a new one or probably another theme which would change the used fonts?

As per my knowledge I don't think this is possible.

The only advice I can give you is to use a good third party app. Search by entering keywords like messging, send sms in your Google Playstore.

Thanks, I'll try to use the advice. It's interesting that I'm the only one who addressed this issue. Am I excessively sensitive person?

Usually in cheap phones like this such problems are there. Even I have that problem but only under sunlight it is not so clearly visible for me otherwise I don't even care about it.
