DOCOMO not working on xperia e3

Me and my friends bought new smartphones of SONY. I bought sony xperia E3 and they bought M2 and C3.

My friend bought docomo sim, but it was not working i.e, not showing any networks on M2. I portabled my sim from airtel to docomo and it's also not working on E3. while both docomo sims are working fine on samsung or micromax or any other smartphone. Also other sims like idea, bsnl etc are also working fine on both the sets. Can anybody help?

Could be that the SIM card is not compatible with Sony phones ie:They use a different frequency as to what the phones you have are programed to be compatible with, There are different version of said phones and some will only work in different countries and some will only work on 4G - I'd check with the network to see if they are compatible

I came to know that the sims i was talking about were Docomo WOW sims. Other simple docomo sims are working fine.
Thank you. I really didn't think if anyone would look into this matter.

But tell me what can i do except buying a new sim to solve this problem? I really don't want to change my mobile number.

I bought Sony xperia e3 on 10th Oct 2014. I am facing hanging problems for incoming and outgoing calls.I need to restart the phone every 2 hrs to make the phone work. I am requesting Sony to resolve the issue ASAP.
