Settings reset after charging

Hi guys,

I'm new in this forum.

My phone has a bug, whenever I charge, the settings reset after i plug it out. Especially the settings for email sync and the display settings.

What should i do about this?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I recommend that you first check the settings in the app Smart Connect. Smart Connect can be used to change settings when you for example connect/disconnect an accessory.

If you haven't enabled any events in Smart Connect it sounds a bit like your phone is set to demo mode which is used by stores. Try dialing *#*#73556673#*#* and see if it asks if you want to disable demo mode.

thanks for your post. demo mode is disabled. Too bad that this was not the solution...

Did you buy this phone new in a box? There are also special demo units not meant for sale that does this and with those units it can't be turned off.

Could you dial *#*#7378423#*#* and go to Service info -> Software info and check Customization version and Active Customization and then send me a PM with this information and your phones IMEI?
