topic Geolocation toggle interface in XPERIA archive

I actively use geolocation for my purposes on my Z1. It is either fully activated when I use it actively or set to battery saver option (network and WiFi only) upon standby.
This was very easy to manage on earlier Android devices, you just tick the network geolocation in settings and bring out a built-in GPS widget. Switching GPS on and off by my will, without touching network geolocation.
Now it's gone. By toggling location services via the widget you turn on and off all means of location simultaneously. I need to good deep into settings menu to correct geolocation parameters, which is quite annoying.
Please help me resolve at least one of these issues:
1. Show me an interface feature that I've missed that allows me to toggle GPS satellites separately.
2. Same, but with any 3rd party software.
3. If these fail, let me know how to uncheck the automatic geodata collecting, so it asks permission every time again. This allows for an easier method without visiting settings.
