Running without phone problem

Hello,

So i have been running for the last couple of days and on the first day i ran for 20 minutes but did not have my phone on me. The smartband showed that i was running and counted 20 minutes on the walking/running menu.

Then i go back and it syncs with my phone and the running is gone and is now counted as walking.

The next day i had my phone with me and that day is still recorded fine.

Then today i left my phone back again and same thing happened. After my workout it clearly showed my running minutes then after syncing with my phone i lost it and it was considered as walking.

Anyone else noticed this?

Any suggestions?

Haven't run without my phone but with my new SWR30 yet. First try at that will be Monday.

But I do notice in Lifelog -> Settings -> Logger you can choose wether to use the phone's sensors to log an activity and/or the SmartWear's (ie, SWR30). Which options do you have enabled? I've got SmartWear only to avoid the phone doubling-up an activity or, as you might've found, overiding it - as I wasn't sure how smartly the two play together.

Oh i never checked that before.

I had everything enabled. Should i uncheck all except for application?

Since also when i am at school, and check the map. I find that its showing that i've been home a couple of times when i never left the school.

You think it is related?

So I unchecked everything except for application usage and after going for a run, the watch recorded 20 minutes. Then when I got back to my phone now it says 5 minutes on both phone and band and also shows I was in a car during that run.

It is definitely messed up.
