It is, you can play it, but it acts like a normal video which stops after it finishes once. I mean, since webm is starting to replace animated gifs nowadays, why not also give the option to loop webm?

Ok, my first thread, idk where this should go to so don't kill me -- i don't taste good.

Anyway, with the getting more and more popular video format of webm ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebM ) replacing gif files on some websites, i have a suggestion for an update to Album or Movies apps to recognize it and automatically loops the file. Afterall, the file is mostly used as a gif replacement thanks to its much much more compact file size (bye2 bandwidth killing pages).
Thanks for visiting

Ah i see, i thought Sony could make some modification about the file playback seeing how the Walkman app has received a dsd playback ability which is impressive.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I thought WebM was a HTML web coding name given to videos which was or has been supported since Gingerbread using Chrome
