Potrait Keypad malfunction

Hi,

Facing issues on the Xperia Z3 Dual.

1. Answering calls - when i get a call, i am unable to move the slider to answer the call. the green button gets unresponsive.

2. Typing on the potrait keypad - few characters like s, z, e, are very very difficult to type. if i make a cautious effort of trying to press the "z" the capslock or the "x" get pressed. i see the clear deviation.

Please note that this green button of the slider for answering the calls and the "z" and "s" are approx the same space on the screen.

Is this a touch screen issue or a keypad issue? hardware or software?

Appreciate your help in the same.

Do you install any screen protecters? They might interfere the touch input.

If by removing any screen protector or protective case doesn't work then repair your phone with PCC

I have been searching for days to find someone who has the exact same issue... this is exactly what happens to my Z3, can't answer the phone with the slider and text is acting up exactly the same, except the letters affected are y,c,f.

There is no resolution or advise at all for this issue.

Did you ever get this resolved???? Can anyone offer any advise??? I am trying to avoid doing the reset but I have tried everything I can think of.

I of course started with a simple reboot, then removed SD and reboot, then removed SD and sim reboot... tried to remove every update added in the last few days. I ran Malwar, AVG cleaner as well... nothing works!!

I did a factory reset, didn't work... then software repair with Companion and the issue is still not fixed.
