The issue here seems to be your SD card. reformat your SD card and try again

free up internal memory

The internal memory of my phone is 380 MB, and there is only 46 MB free. This makes the updating of the apps such as Whatsapp (the whatsapp was installed in my SD card which has 8 GB with 6 GB free) unsuccessful due to insufficient space.

To free up internal memory, I tried to move some of the apps to the SD card, but it was unsuccessful most of the time. It seems that there is no way to delete the unwanted apps.

I have also tried to install AppMgr III which enables moving apps to SD / uninstall unwanted apps. But this was also unsuccessful due to insufficient space.

I would like to know how I may improve it.
