Bluetooth connection with hands free. Google not working.

Hi to everyone.

I am using my xperia Z3 to connect with my helmet using the bluetooth connection.

At the begining, when I bought the xperia Z3, when pressing the helmet button to make a request to the phone, the "google lady" was asking about if I want to make a call or anything, it worked out, it was working as expected, but since the phone requested me to make some updates in the apps (also the google app), the google thing does not work anymore. It works the music, it works the google maps and navigation but If I want to "talk to the phone" the google lady says (in spanish "espera") "wait", a grey screen appears with the word "initializing" and actually does nothing. In a nutshell, the google thing does not work using blueetooth anymore. Then I have to stop to drive and manually make the call which is not ideal when you are travelling...

I tried to reset to factory settings once, but still does not work.

Has anyone encountered the same issue?

I have updated the OS to Lollipop and still does not work. Fustrating...

Kindly try these steps:

- Go to your app drawer, tap on "Google Settings"

- Select "Search & Now" then "Voice"

- Make sure "Bluetooth headset" option is active

- If necessary, you can also try to re-train "OK Google" detection.

That worked out Quester, Thanks for that.

What still does not work is when I press the helmet button to comunicate via bluetooth to my xperia. Still the grey screen appears with the same message.

Anyway, now I can say OK google and the voice thing works, but if I am driving the motorcycle and the phone is locked the OK google thing does not work like before. I mean, I have to take the phone and press the power on-off button then say OK google what is not ideal when I am driving. WIth the screen locked does not work.

Am I missing anything else?
