Back up & restore

Hello
Theres a problem with my backup & restore when I do backup to my SD Card it gives me the password option then when it starts the process of doing backup it gives me an error and it says this
"an error occurred while doing backup" and that happend after I upgraded the device to lolipop and I searched for solutions to this problem and I could not find one
And please tell me a solution that does not include doing reset Cuz I have games data and work
On the device and thats why I want to do the backup

How about partial backups? also it depends on the game as some will store the game data on Google servers or their own servers.

I tried everything partial and full backups and I dont care about the games I have apps that includes my work and I cant give up easily on that
