... I noticed strange issue with operator unlocked z3 compact, android version is still 5.0.2, no matter which sim I used, there`s no upgrade OTA or through PC Companion, so I`ve checked imei number and it is same on the warranty list and device, but sonymobile says it is NOT genuine Sony imei number, any thoughts?

thanks!

Hi,

Since PC Companion says that you have the latest version, you have the latest version. All the phones does not receive the update at the same time and it can depend on country/customization etc. Even if you use another SIM-card, it will not force a new update to the phone.

Where does it say that your phone is not genuine? Could you perhaps send me your IMEI-number via PM and I can look closer into it.
