Screen wont come on

I have been having this issue for a month now. Whenever I try to unlock my phone the screen doesnt come on. The black screen just gets a little bright and some part of the screen I can see some blue. I can operate the phone while this happens, I can unlock and it vibrates and all, I can take pictures, the only thing is the screen is black. I have to lock and unlock it 3-4 times till the screen comes on normally and I also have to press the lock button with extra force.

The issue is not with the button as tap to unlock gives the same problem and the screen doesn't come on when I receive a call as well.

Sorry to hear that.

In this case I would recommend performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. What you can try before that is to try and reboot your phone in safe mode if possible.

I have done a factory reset but the problem still persists.

@gautamoc, if you've performed the software repair and it did not help I'd advise you have your device sent to and examined by an authorized service centre. Contact your Local support for information on how to send it in.
